Stop the Boats
Illegal immigration is out of control because politicians choose not to enforce the law, and let foreign courts rob British citizens of a border.
A Reform government will stop the boats by immediately leaving the ECHR, restoring full control of our borders, intercepting and detaining all illegal arrivals, and deporting them.
There will be no loopholes, no delays, and no endless appeals.
We will also end Britain being treated as a global welfare system. No more free housing. No more benefits. No more taxpayer-funded incentives for illegal migration. An end to NGOs facilitating illegal migration. Detention and deportation will be the only outcome.
Britain is a welcoming country. But it must be a country with borders, laws, and consequences.
Secure and Defend Our Borders
Border control is national security.
A Reform government will establish a fully integrated border command, including a UK Deportation Command, with the legal authority, manpower, and technology to stop illegal entry by land, sea, and air.
We will withdraw from or disapply every international treaty that prevents this country from being able to secure its borders.
We will restore deterrence, enforce the law, and ensure that anyone who enters Britain illegally is removed swiftly and permanently.
A nation that fails to control its borders is not a nation.
Deport Illegal Migrants
We have announced a clear and uncompromising plan to remove all illegal migrants from the UK. Operation Restoring Justice.
Reform UK will implement a five-year emergency programme to identify, detain, and deport illegal migrants in the UK. We will leave the European Convention on Human Rights, repeal the Human Rights Act and pass the Illegal Migration (Mass Deportation) Bill to ensure that anyone who enters the country illegally will be ineligible for asylum. We will establish a UK Deportation Command and use all the available levers of the state to identify illegal migrants and deport them, including rapidly building Secure Immigration Removal Centres with capacity for up to 24,000. The Foreign Office will secure return agreements with other countries as a matter of priority and up to five deportation flights per day will be chartered by the Home Office (with an RAF Voyager on six-hour ‘hot-spare’ readiness).
Over 10 years, this programme will lead to a net saving of £42 billion for the taxpayer (£7 billion during the first Parliament).
Scrap ILR to Avert the Boriswave
The era of cheap, low-skilled foreign labour is over. Reform UK will end the scam of mass immigration and finally put British citizens first.
The Conservative Party’s failed immigration policies allowed 3.8 million people (96% non-EU) into the country on long-term visas during the Boriswave (2021-2024). About half of these migrants will never work. Between 2026-2030 800,000 of these migrants are expected to receive Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), giving them access to benefits, ultimately costing the UK taxpayer a minimum of £234 billion.
Reform will abolish ILR and rescind existing awards. Reform will introduce a 5 year renewable visa for migrants with higher salary thresholds, mandatory fluency in English, and stricter good character requirements. There will be no recourse to benefits for foreign nationals. Shortage visas will be issued in limited and capped numbers only when there are clear and acute shortages in national-critical roles (with the visa sponsor also required to train up a British worker).
Restore Britain’s Sovereignty
A Reform government will ensure that no foreign court, treaty, or institution overrides the will of the British people or the authority of Parliament.
Laws affecting Britain will be made in Britain. Borders will be controlled in Britain. National interests will be decided by the British people alone.
Sovereignty is not an abstract principle. It is the foundation of democracy, accountability, and self-government.
Make Law-Abiding Citizens Feel Safe
The first duty of the state is to protect its citizens.
Reform UK will restore visible policing, much tougher sentencing for serious and repeat offenders – including mandatory minimums, and an uncompromising approach to crime and antisocial behaviour.
We will deploy stop and search to get deadly weapons off our streets, and keep people safe.
We will rapidly build prison capacity to ensure no violent criminals are released early due to overcrowding, and that judges hand criminals the sentences they deserve.
Victims will come first, not criminals. The law will protect those who obey it, and punish those who break it.
Safe streets are the bedrock of a civilised society.
Make Work Pay
Work should always be rewarded.
We will cut taxes on workers, reduce the burden on families, and ensure that people are always better off in work than on benefits.
The welfare system will support only those British citizens who cannot get by without government help, and it will no longer trap people in dependency or penalise effort.
If you work hard and play by the rules, Britain should work for you.Make Work Pay
Scrap Net Zero to Cut Energy Bills
British households and businesses are being crushed by among the highest energy costs in the world – driven by bad ideological policy.
Reform UK will prioritise energy security, expand domestic energy production, and scrap policies that drive bills higher while making Britain more dependent on foreign energy.
Lower energy costs mean lower prices, higher wages, and a stronger economy.
09
Support Our Farmers and the Rural Economy
Britain’s farmers are the lifeblood of our country and backbone of our food security, but they have been pushed to breaking point by Whitehall diktats. Pursuit of net zero at any cost has led to productive farmland being littered with solar panels and wind farms.
Reform UK will rip up paperwork burdens, restore common sense, and end the punitive taxation of family farms. We will let farmers farm again and ensure that they’re paid fair prices for their produce.
10
Revitalise British Manufacturing
Britain was once the workshop of the world. It can be again.
We will support domestic manufacturing with much cheaper energy, simpler regulation and procurement policies that favour British producers.
We will ensure our young people are trained in skills that manufacturers need, providing them with fulfilling and well paid jobs.
A strong manufacturing base means skilled jobs, resilient supply chains, and national strength.
Make Britain the Best Place to Start and Run a Business
Entrepreneurs create jobs, growth, and opportunity.
There are no well paid, fulfilling jobs without thriving businesses.
Government should support them, not suffocate them.
Reform UK will cut red tape, cut business taxes, simplify planning, and create a stable, pro-enterprise environment.
We will make Britain the best place in the world to build and run a successful business.
Defend and Protect British Culture and Traditions
Our history, culture, and traditions are a source of pride and unity.
Reform UK will defend free speech, uphold British traditions, ban DEI quotas, and reject the politics of guilt.
We will ensure British children are not indoctrinated in schools, that they learn of Britain’s great and proud history.
Religious freedom is a core feature of our culture, but our culture is built upon Christian values. Those will be protected and celebrated.
Rebuild Britain’s Armed Forces
We believe in peace through strength.
We will rebuild Britain’s armed forces, invest in capability and readiness, end woke, and restore morale across the military and intelligence services.
We will ensure our armed forces are ready to deal with the ever-present threats posed by Russia and China.
Britain must once again be respected by allies and feared by adversaries.
14
Help British People Have Children
Family is the foundation of society.
We will reduce the financial pressures that stop working people starting families, support parents, and remove policies that make having children unaffordable.
Britain’s future depends on supporting the next generation.
Put British Workers First
British workers have been undercut for too long.
We will end the importation of cheap foreign labour, supporting jobs and wages for British workers. Our industrial strategy will also ensure training and apprenticeships create opportunities for British workers, especially young people.
Put British Businesses First
British businesses should not be disadvantaged in their own country.
We will prioritise British firms in procurement, remove unnecessary regulation, and create a level playing field.
When British businesses succeed, Britain succeeds.
17
Embrace the Technologies of the Future
Britain has the ability to lead the next wave of global innovation, but instead of embracing new technologies the political class are regulating them out of existence, leaving Britain falling behind.
Reform UK will make Britain a world leader in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and digital assets. We will create a pro-innovation regulatory environment that encourages experimentation, rewards investment, and attracts the world’s best talent.
Under Reform, technology will serve the British people, raise productivity, and create high-paid jobs. We enable progress, not hold it back.
Dramatically Cut Foreign Aid
The Tories spent £230 billion on foreign aid over their 14 years, in real terms, while letting British public services decay to the brink of collapse.
We will cap overseas aid at £1bn, prioritising British strategic interests, ringfencing bilateral aid to Ukraine, and keeping our seat at the UN and IMF. This will save over £30bn over a Parliament, which will be redirected to serve British people.
We will prioritise our own citizens, securing our borders, rebuilding public services, and strengthening national defence.
Charity begins at home. The first duty of any government is to its own people.
Make Our Civil Service Lean and Productive
Britain is over-governed, over-regulated, and under-managed.
Reform UK will slim down the civil service, eliminate waste, and refocus the state on delivery rather than process. We will end roles that exist only to produce paperwork, manage decline, or enforce ideological agendas.
Civil servants who perform well will be rewarded. Those who fail will be removed. Accountability, productivity, and value for money will be restored.
A leaner state will deliver better outcomes for the public and free Britain to grow again.
